Kenneth A. Bamberger

Kenneth A. Bamberger is The Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Foundation Professor of Law at the University of California, Berkeley. He is Faculty co-Director of the Berkeley Center for Law and Technology (BCLT) and of the Helen Diller Institute for Jewish Law and Israel Studies, and is a core faculty member of the Berkeley Center for Law and Business (BCLB).

Rebecca Golbert

Executive Director

Rebecca Golbert has been the Executive Director of the Helen Diller Institute for Jewish Law and Israel Studies at UC Berkeley since 2013.

Golbert received her doctorate in social anthropology from the University of Oxford under the supervision of Jonathan Webber, a leading anthropologist of modern Jewry. She also earned her B.A. in anthropology from Princeton University and a Master of Dispute Resolution degree from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law.

Ron E. Hassner

Ron Hassner teaches international conflict and religion. He is a recipient of the Berkeley Undergraduate Political Science Association’s “Distinguished Teaching Award”, the Berkeley Division of Social Sciences’ “Distinguished Teaching Award”, Berkeley’s campus-wide “Distinguished Teaching Award”, and the American Political Science Association’s “Outstanding Teaching in Political Science Award”. Leah Wagner-Edelstein, Deputy Director of the Helen Diller Institute for Jewish Law and Israel Studies comes from a rich background of resource development, external relations and philanthropic service both within and outside of the Jewish and Israeli Community.
