Sapir Brand

Sapir Brand is a Sophomore intending to major in Molecular and Cell Biology on a Pre-Medical track. She is passionate about Jewish community and working with kids, which she has pursued as a Schultz Fellow at Hillel and as a volunteer mentor at a local elementary school with the Sage Mentorship Project. Sapir hopes to continue to learn more about Israel and explore diverse perspectives through this fellowship group. In her free time, she enjoys training in martial arts, reading, and running.

Orla Brigel

Orla Brigel is a Sophomore intending to major in Conservation and Resource Studies, focusing on psychology, public health and environmental science and pursuing a Hebrew minor. She co-leads the Rosh Chodesh Women's Cohort through Hillel, and works with Senator Shaya Keyvanfar's mental health office to equip students with accessible resources to improve their well-being. Ariella Cohn

Ariella moved from Cape Town, South Africa to the U.S. for college, where she is pursuing a double major in Data Science and Cognitive Science. Elye Kehat

Elye Kehat is a third-year student majoring in Economics and Data Science. His academic interests include the intersection of religion and economics, along with economic history, monetary theory, and econometrics. He’s developed and taught two undergraduate courses at Berkeley (“DeCals”) on money, debt, and religion. Shaya is a sophomore intending to major in Global Studies and Political Economics as well as minoring in Jewish Studies at UC Berkeley. She is passionate about social justice, specifically human rights and mental health work, as well as yoga, art, and music. Ami Lipkind

Ami Lipkind is a second year Undergraduate majoring in Economics and Data Science. At Berkeley, he is active in Students Supporting Israel (SSI) as the Director of Education. He leads bi-weekly education sessions for the board members, and participates in weekly tabling where he discusses issues surrounding Israel with the greater UC Berkeley community. Upon graduation, Ami hopes to pursue a PhD in Economics. In his free time, he enjoys studying classics, reading Russian literature, and practicing Shotokan Karate.

Jack Metzger

Jack Metzger is a First Year Undergraduate, majoring in Data Science with a minor in History. At Berkeley, he is an active participant in Jewish life, part of the Berkeley Bridging Fellowship, which is dedicated to bring together pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian students to promote discussion. Brooke Resnick

Brooke Resnik is a second-year student majoring in Legal Studies and intending to minor in Public Policy. Brooke is active in the Jewish community through her membership in the student organization Tikvah/SSI and as co-head of the Jewish Unity department in Senator Keyvanfar's office. Luca Robinson

Luca Robinson is a second year Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures student at UC Berkeley. His interests include religion and Middle Eastern geopolitics as they relate to Israel.
