Bio/CV:
Leila is a third year student double-majoring in Data Science and Linguistics. At Berkeley, she is active in various student organizations, such as Women in Computing and Data Science (WiCDS), where she serves as the Chair of the Projects Committee, and Students Supporting Israel (SSI), where she coordinates tabling and various education initiatives and events. She has recently interned at Similarweb, in Israel, where she built an ML model to help target email marketing campaigns. She is also a student worker at HDI, managing the website and the institute’s data. Upon graduation, she hopes to travel and spend time with her family. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, and playing trumpet and guitar.
