Shaya Keyvanfar

Bio/CV: 

Shaya is a sophomore intending to major in Global Studies and Political Economics as well as minoring in Jewish Studies at UC Berkeley. She is passionate about social justice, specifically human rights and mental health work, as well as yoga, art, and music. Hence, she has immersed herself in the activist community at Berkeley by joining the board of Challah for Hunger, becoming a Volunteer Supporter at Lean On Me, and being elected as the Jewish Student Union endorsed senator in the ASUC. She hopes to synthesize these interests by continuing to learn more about Israel and using this knowledge to influence her activism.
