Daniel Levy is a 2025–2026 Helen Diller Institute Visiting Professor in the Legal Studies Department at UC Berkeley. He is an Associate Professor and Academic Director of the International Program at the Baruch Ivcher School of Psychology, Reichman University – The Interdisciplinary Center, in Herzliya, Israel. His research focuses on the processes and brain mechanisms underlying human memory and attention, the effects of brain damage and neurological illness on these cognitive abilities, and strategies for their improvement through physiological and behavioral interventions. He also explores questions at the intersection of psychology and philosophy, including free will, punishment, and personal identity.
